Aaron Columbus Box

Aaron C Box of Live Oak, FL passed away Thursday August 10th.  He was born in 1938 to Helen Bishop Box and Kay V. Box. Mr. Box is survived by two sons, Jeffery A. Box (Annette) of Idaho and Randy E. Box of Shell Point FL. and grandson Captain Austin C. Box USAF.

Deceased siblings Are Mary Box Skeen, Earl Box and Julie Stormant. And Clyde Box. Aaron is Survived by Brother Claude Daniel Box (Chestine) of OK.  Randall Box of Live Oak, FL, Sister Bobbie J. Brewer (Bill) Ocala FL, and Lisa Stewart Box of Jacksonville FL, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Special mention to all the support for Aaron over the last few years. and thank you does not cover the love and care given by Johnny W Skeen (Debbie) and Jimmie Skeen (Voncile).

Aaron was SHS graduate 1956 with All-state honors in football. Played his college ball with the University of Georgia, 3-year letterman. Highlighted by a winning Touchdown in the1960 Orange Bowl and SEC championship.      "The best days of my life" he said.   With a few years played in Canada pro league and semi pro in Jacksonville fl.

His professional career was diverse with time in Law enforcement, Heavy equipment, and Construction as well as Probation and Parole.

His favorite past time was the years at UGA and time as a competitive Team Roper (heading and healing). He loved being a horseman and a cowboy.

Mr. Box was a rugged and unmistakable male figure. Always training with weights and up for a good conversation with any kind hearted person he could find.  He was baptized this year with thanks given to dear friend Richard Taylor (Derry Jo), and we are pleased he will spend eternity with the Lord.

Please gather with family and Friends at Train Depot in down town Live Oak on September 9th.

We will gather starting at 11AM.

A brief ceremony will begin at Noon and food and refreshments will be served immediately as afterwards.
