Alex Mabey

Alexander Douglas Mabey, age 19, of Live Oak, FL passed away, Wednesday, August 20, 2025, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Alex was born in Jacksonville, FL and was a life-long resident of Live Oak where he attended Suwannee High School and was on the SHS Soccer team and weightlifting team. After graduation from Suwannee High, he enrolled in the welding program at North Florida Community College in Madison, FL and worked for Smith Brother’s Lawn Service. Alex was a follower of Jesus Christ and was a faithful member of the First Advent Christian Church.

He is survived by his parents, Doug and Lynn Mabey, Live Oak, FL; his girlfriend, Lillian Williams, Madison, FL; one brother, Keith White, Live Oak, FL; three sisters, Christine (Ryan) Vervisch, Ft. Campbell, KY; Amanda (Zachery) Miller, Dahlonega, GA; Bethany (Zian) Rwito, Pittsburg, PA; four nieces and nephews and several aunts and uncles.

A celebration of Alex’s life will be held, 6:00 PM, Tuesday, August 26, 2025, in the First Advent Christian Church with his uncle, Rev. Tim Carver officiating.
