Alice Mae Goodwin Profile Photo

Alice Mae Goodwin passed away peacefully in her sleep at Good Samaritan Center, Dowling Park, Florida.  She was 100 years young!  Alice, (also was known by the nickname, “Tommie”) lived in New England, most of her life.  Her parents were from Maine and Canada.  Alice met Clinton, (also nicknamed “Laddy”) at a ballroom dance and married in 1942.  For years, they danced, so beautifully on many occasions.  They were full of life and lived to help others.  Alice was generous beyond measure and loved the Lord!  She loved to crochet and if she knew you, you would have a hat that she made!  She also loved genealogy, gardening, puzzles, scrabble, bananagrams and ponies!

Alice loved and supported the Native American and First Nations people of Canada and their culture.

She will be missed, but never forgotten!  Her heart’s desire was to live to be 100 and that, she did!!  She leaves a daughter, Joy, a grandson, Rand, two granddaughters, Heidi and Hayley, four great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and her cousins.  Alice was predeceased by her husband, Clinton, her oldest daughter, Bonnie and oldest grandson, Theodore.
