Alice Marie Vaughn
February 22, 1930 — April 19, 2021
Alice Marie Vaughn, "Tootsie", age 91, of Live Oak, FL, passed away Monday, April 19, 2021 in the Osprey Lodge Assisted Living facility in Tavares, FL following a lengthy illness. She was born in Miami, FL and was a life-long resident of Live Oak where she and her late husband, Leonard Vaughn, owned and operated the Drive Inn Theater for many years. Tootsie as she was known by her family and friends, was a member of the First Advent Christian Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Shelby (Mark) Hirsch, Sorrento, FL and two grandchildren.
Visitation was held, Monday, April 26 from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
Funeral services were held, 10:30 AM, Tuesday, April 27, 2021 in the First Advent Christian Church with Rev. Tim Carver officiating. Interment followed in the Live Oak Cemetery.
