Allene Speight

Mrs. Allene Speight, 75, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Haven Hospice, Lake City, Florida. She lived for eight years in Live Oak, Florida. A graduate of Children's Literature Institute, Mrs. Speight wrote several short stories. She is survived by her husband Gene Speight of Live Oak, son Thomas of Madison, Florida, brother John Dennis of Grand Ridge, Florida and 2 grandchildren. Mrs. Speight was a member of Sunrise Baptist Church in Jasper, Florida. A Memorial Service will be held at Sunrise Baptist Church on November 30, 2014 at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sunrise Baptist Church, 5343 SW 107th Ave., Jasper, Florida 32052.
