Arthur Ammons

Arthur “Art” Ammons, age 89, of Live Oak, FL, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2019 at the V.A. Medical Center in Lake City, FL. He was born in Kellerman, AL and was a Sergeant in the U.S. Airforce, having served during the Korean War. He moved to Live Oak, FL sixteen years ago from Tallahassee, FL. He loved woodworking, photography and traveling.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Beth Ammons, Live Oak, FL; one son, Arthur “Buddy” Neil Ammons, Jr. North Stonington, CT; two daughters, Cheryl Taylor, East Orange, VT and Donna Malphurs, Tallahassee, FL; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held, 3:00 PM, Friday, September 13, 2019 in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel.
