Arthur Calvin “A.C.” Davis, Jr., age 87, of Live Oak, FL passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018 at his home. He was born in Birmingham, AL moving to Live Oak in 1991 from St. Petersburg, FL. A.C. was a Veteran of the U.S. Naval Reserve and Cottage Parent for the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranches. He was a member of the St. Petersburg Underwater Club and loved scuba diving and hunting.
He is survived by two sons, Harold Davis, Live Oak; Russell (Roseann) Davis, St. Petersburg, FL; two daughters, Diane Foster, St. Petersburg, FL and Teresa (Tim) Beach, Weeki Watchee, FL; his ex-wife, June Tasker, St. Petersburg, FL; one brother, Donald (Anita) Davis, St. Petersburg, FL; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
As per his wishes, finalization will be by cremation.
