Avanelle Taylor Murray
October 17, 1927 — July 29, 2024
Avanelle Taylor Murray, age 96, of Live Oak, FL passed away, Monday, July 29, 2024, at the Grande Cypress Assisted Living facility in Lake City, FL. She was born in McArthur, Ohio and married Ernest Murray on December 24, 1948. They were married for 50 years and had eight children. Ernest was the great love of her life, and her children were what she was most proud of. She was the best cook, had a quick wit, a feisty sense of humor and was deeply loved by everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest, their son, Gary and a daughter, Ellen.
She is survived by six children and their spouses, two sons, Michael (Peggy) Murray and Ralph (Cookie) Murray; four daughters, Joyce Murray, Beverly Murray, Cindy Jo Murray and Barbara Murray; two sisters, Shirley and Janette; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.
