Avery Daniel Davis

Avery Daniel Davis, age 92, of Live Oak, Florida, passed away, Wednesday evening, August 26, 2026, at his home following a lengthy illness.  He was born in Sanderson, Florida moving to Live Oak in 1969 from Lake City, Florida.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during the Korean War.  He worked as an electrician for many years and was a member of the Tiger Lake Baptist Church.  Avery loved playing golf, bowling, fishing and hunting.  He was a family man who loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Davis; three sons, Mark (Lori) Davis; Bo (Alicia) Davis; Scott (Kandace) Davis; one daughter, Lori Rogers, all of Live Oak, Florida; three sisters, Evelene Lyons, Macclenny, FL; Fairylee Davis, Sanderson, FL and Carlis Harvin, Lake Butler, FL; twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
