Barbara Winifred Martinson

Barbara Winifred Martinson, age 89, of Live Oak, FL, passed away Tuesday evening, August 12, 2025. She was born in Detroit, Michigan moving to Live Oak in 1973 and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness. Barbara was a loving, and caring mother, sister and granny! She loved spending time with her grandchildren, always making sure they were taken and picked up from different events. She loved gardening, sewing, pogo sticks, jumping on the trampoline, bicycling and playing the piano.
She is survived by two daughters, Renee (Frank) Scribner, Live Oak, FL; Charmain (Tim) White, Live Oak, FL; one son, Steven Martinson, Ft. White, FL; two sisters, Joyce Magnusson, Atlanta, GA; Eda Modrak, Detroit, MI; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
As per her wishes, finalization will be by cremation.
