Barbara Mae Raines

Barbara Mae Raines September 4, 1937 * August 8, 2010 Barbara Mae Raines, age 79, of Live Oak, Florida passed away Friday, August 13, 2010 at Shands @ U.F. in Gainesville, FL following complications from a stroke. The Chicago, ILL native moved to Live Oak, FL in 1990 from Seminole, FL. She worked for eleven years with General Electric. Barbara loved to sew and was an amazing seamstress. She enjoyed oil painting and arts and crafts. Her most enjoyable moments were the time she spent traveling in her RV with her husband. She is survived by her husband, Fred D. Raines of Live Oak, FL; one son, Michael David Rains, Live Oak, FL; one daughter, Vicki Marks, Seminole, FL; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A private family memorial service was held.
