Barbara Louise Rentz May 21, 1938 * August 23, 2012 Barbara Louise Rentz, age 74 of Live Oak, FL passed away Thursday, August 23 2012 at Shands Jacksonville. She was born in Middletown, NJ moving to Live Oak fourteen years ago from Raleigh, NC. Barbara worked in the nursing field as a CNA, she loved her family with all her heart. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, sewing, knitting, singing and dancing and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness. She is survived by her husband, Harry Rentz, Live Oak; four sons, Duane Hemphill, Darius Bowles, Dackrin Bowles, Thomas Johnson; two step sons, Fred Rentz and Zebedee Rentz; three daughters, Desiree Grant, Darcel Harris, Danelee Bowles; four step daughters, Vonnie Rentz, Evangeline Rentz, Tabitha Rentz, Regina Mann; two brothers, Oscar Hemphill, Jr., Ronad Vann Hemphill; two sisters, Marie Barnes, Sarah Buchanan; 18 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 16 step grandchildren, 26 step great grandchildren and 5 step great-great grandchildren. Visitation and viewing were held Friday, August 31st from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
