Betty Duncan, age 86 of Live Oak, FL passed away Tuesday evening, November 5, 2013 at Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL. She was a native of Rossville, GA moving to Live Oak in 1982. Betty was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, cooking and coloring. She was a member of the Orange Baptist Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, William Riley Duncan and a son, Charles Duncan.
She is survived by six sons, William Duncan, Oak Hill, FL; Ronnie Duncan, Hialeah, FL; Clyde Duncan, Pembroke Pines, FL; James Duncan, Stevenson, AL; Johnny Duncan, Live Oak; Larry Duncan, New Smyrna Beach, FL; three daughters, Emma Hindman and Julie Chirino both of Live Oak and Wanda Alessi, Coral Springs, FL; sixteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held one hour prior to the services from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church.
Funeral services were held 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 9, 2013 at the Orange Baptist Church with Pastor Morgan Campbell officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
