B.J. Martin

B.J. Martin, age 66, of Branford, FL passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  She was born in Frostproof, FL, living most of her life in Winter Haven, FL where she, alongside her husband, owned and operated Bob and Jerry's Roofing Company.  She was also a license cosmetologist.  B.J. and her husband had bought property in Branford five years ago and had recently moved there full time.  She attended the Frostproof Assembly of God Church and later Berkley Chapel (formerly Life Church). She enjoyed Bible study where she and her husband often hosted small groups.  She loved and treasured her family. Family was so important to her.  One of her favorite roles was that of BMAMA!  She adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Martin, Branford, FL; one son, Justin (Amanda) Jacobs (children: Sophia & Olivia), Yulee, FL; one stepson, Jeremiah Martin; three stepdaughters, Sarah (Brent) Powers, (children: Brooklyn, Madison, Graham, & Roslyn),Lakeland, FL; Naomi (Luke) Ostberg (children: Ethan, Esther Jane, & Zeke) Mancos, CO and Joy (Jeffrey) Holton (children: Josey & Jaylee), Winter Haven, FL; one sister, Yvonne McDuffie, Winter Haven, FL.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the Berkley Chapel, 581 Berkley Road, Auburndale, FL 33823.
