Bobby Joseph Mercer

Bobby Mercer, age 67, of Live Oak, FL passed away Friday evening, January 17, 2014 at Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL. He was a native and life long resident of Live Oak working as a drag line oiler for a mining company. He enjoyed fishing and doing yard work and was a member of the Orange Baptist Church. He is survived by three sons, Josh Mercer and Jason Mercer both of Mulberry, FL; Tommy Downing, Live Oak; two daughters, Bobbi Jo Mercer, Mulberry, FL; Darleen Busch, Summerville, SC; one brother, Billy Mercer, Live Oak; three sisters, Mary Mims, Lois Maulden and Barbara Boone all of Live Oak; five grandchildren, Josh Mercer, Jr., Charlie Downing, Gloria Downing, David Busch, Charlene Busch, and a close cousin, Mary Barricklow, Live Oak. Visitation was held Monday, January 20th from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home. Graveside services were held, 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 21, 2014 in the Orange Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Robert Carter officiating.
