Boyce Boroughs

Boyce Boroughs, age 81, of Live Oak, FL passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Shands Live Oak. He was a native of Dacusville, S.C. moving to Live Oak in 1996 from Belton, S.C. He was a self-employed millwright and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Williamston, SC. Boyce was a pilot and enjoyed flying. He was an avid golfer and loved mission work. He is survived by his wife, Jackie Boroughs, Live Oak; four brothers, Paul Boroughs, Jr., Wilmington, NC; Ray Boroughs, Old Town, FL; Sammy Boroughs, Live Oak; Durwood Boroughs, Pelzer, SC; one sister, Amelia Loftis, Homerville, GA. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Funeral services were held 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 29, 2015 in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel with J.R. Megginson officiating. Interment followed in the Live Oak cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Haven Hospice, 6037 Hwy 90 W, Lake City, FL 32055.
