Brittany Nicole Slaughter

Brittany Nicole Slaughter, age 27, of Live Oak, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015. She was born on July 18, 1988 in Gainesville, FL. She attended schools in Suwannee County and was a member of Pinemount Baptist Church. Brittany was a loving, compassionate young woman. She had an outgoing personality that drew many friends to her. She considered her friends her family and often referred to them as “sis”, “aunt” or Granny. She had a generous heart and would go out of her way to help anyone in need. She was loved by many and her passing will leave a huge hole in our hearts forever. She was preceded in death by her son, Bryson Scott Lee Crews. She leaves to mourn her passing, one daughter; her parents, Vivian Carol Slaughter and Scott Lee Wade; her grandparents, Robert and Donna Wade, a special aunt, Cindy Kirby, her uncles Harold Maloy and John (Peanut) Maloy, close cousins, Zack and Dillion Kirby, several other aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the church. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, November 13, 2015 in the Pinemount Baptist Church with Brother Charlie Sexton officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established at TD Bank to help the family with final expenses.
