Buren Alex Hendrix

Buren "Alex" Hendrix December 2, 1957*October 3, 2010 Buren Alex Hendrix, age 52, of Live Oak, FL passed away Sunday, Oct. 3, 2010, at his home. The Plant City, FL native moved to Live Oak twenty-two years ago from Tampa, FL. He worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator for Suwannee County. In his spear time he enjoyed fishing, collecting old coins and was a member of the Grace Community Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Christine Hendrix, Live Oak, FL; father Alex Hendrix, Brandon, FL; four sons, Nakoma Hendrix, Sr., Raymond Hendrix and Alex Hendrix all of Live Oak, FL and David Hendrix, Tampa, FL; six brothers, Clarence Eugene Hendrix, Horace Lee Hendrix and Lewis Hendrix all of Tampa, FL; James Emanuel Hendrix, Live Oak, FL; Rory Dale Hendrix, Plant City, FL; Charles Hendrix, Brandon, FL; one sister, Julia Faith Hendrix, Manassas, VA; four grandchildren. Memorial services were held Tuesday, Oct. 12th @ 6:00 PM in the Grace Community Church.
