Calvin David Hoover

Calvin “Dave” Hoover May 16, 1931 December 20, 2010 Calvin “Dave” Hoover age 79, formally of the Live Oak, FL passed away Monday, December 20, 2010, at his home in Summerfield, FL. The Lincolnton, NC native moved to Live Oak, FL in 1977 from North Miami Beach, FL. He later moved to Summerfield, FL to be closer to his family. Dave worked for the Suwannee County Road Department for over twenty years and in his spare time enjoyed collecting and restoring antique cars and tractors. He was Lutheran by faith. Survivors include one son, Kenneth Hoover, Florence, Montana; three sisters, Nell Beam, Cherryville, NC; Cat Patterson, Brooksville, FL; Lunez Kissira, Charlotte, NC; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Billy & Ruby Eley and three grandchildren. As per his wishes, finalization was by cremation.
