Carol Ann Coates

Carol Ann Coates, age 78, of Live Oak, FL, passed away Monday, February 16, 2026, at the Good Samaritan Center in Dowling Park, FL.  She was born in Chicago, IL, residing in St. Petersburg, FL before moving to Live Oak in 2021.  She worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a clerk and in her spare time, she loved playing golf, kayaking, traveling, going to museums, and symphonies, Busch Gardens and eating out.

She is survived by one son, Thomas C. Hofmann, III, St. Petersburg, FL; one daughter, Christina Hofmann (Brian Drumheller), Live Oak, FL; two grandchildren, Tyler Hofmann and Luke Drumheller.

As per her wishes, finalization will be by cremation.
