Cathryn Poole Williams

Cathryn Poole Williams, Life time Florida resident, was born April 13, 1930 in Dowling Park, Florida to Everette and Emma Voyles Poole and left for her home not made with hands eternal in Heaven on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the ET York Hospice Center in Gainesville, FL.
She was predeceased by her parents and her husband of over fifty years, James P. Williams, originally of Day, FL.
She is survived by her children, Mike (Janis) Williams; Janis (Tom) Ellis and Jimmy Williams; also grandchildren, Amber (Garry) Sheppard, Jamme (Robert) O’Neal, Bo (Liz) Ellis, Stephanie (Philip) Lawrence, Stacie (Will) Wilson, Shane (Megan) Williams and Jake (Lexi) Williams, also 14 Great Grandchildren.
Cathryn lived a selfless life continuously looking to help someone and lift someone up while being an example for her children to follow.
Baptized in Jacksonville in the 1950’s, she remained a member of the North Central Baptist Church since 1965.
She also was a member of the order of the Eastern Star and Gator Boosters, both for decades.

Graveside services were held, 1:30 PM, Wednesday, October 18, 2023 in the Live Oak Cemetery.
