Charlene Elizabeth Howard, age 66, of O’Brien, FL passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023 at her home in O’Brien, FL following a sudden illness. She was born in Citronelle, Alabama moving to O’Brien, Florida in 1995. She retired from the State of Florida as a correctional officer with the Hamilton County Correctional Institution. Charlene loved knitting, arts and crafts, diving for arrowheads, artifacts, cooking, baking, reading and spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her father, Charles Edward Howard a brother, Jeff Davis and a sister, Poo.
She is survived by her mother, Leola Davis, Mayo, FL; two daughters, Taletha (David) Sampson, Mayo, FL and Desiree Owens, O’Brien, FL; seven brothers, Charles Howard, Eddie Howard, Butch Davis, Lonnie Davis, Nick Davis, Chris Howard and Grant Howard; two sisters, Wendy Brantley and Christina Davis; Five grandchildren, Michael Howard, Justin Sampson, Anthony Howard, Jordyn Howard and Wyatt Howard; six great grandchildren also survive.
