Charles Belton, age 70, of Live Oak, FL passed away Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City, FL. He was a native of New Orleans, LA moving to Live Oak in 1988. He was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and a member of the First Baptist Church of Live Oak and the Masonic Order. Charles loved riding his motorcycle, working on his computer and wildlife. His most precious moments were spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Belton, Live Oak; one son, Michael (Delia) Belton, Niceville, FL; two daughters, Paula (Jeff) Fitts, Keystone Heights, FL and Ronda (Jody) Ellison, Live Oak; eight grandchildren. Visitation was held one hour prior to the services from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.Funeral services were held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 6, 2017 in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel with Rev. Phillip Herrington officiating. Interment followed in the Live Oak Cemetery.
