Charles Odell Gardner

Charles Odell Gardner, age 79, of Wellborn, FL passed away Friday, March 7, 2025, at his home. He was born in Winston-Salem, NC living most of his life in Cary, NC before moving to Wellborn, FL in 2015. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps having served during the Vietnam War. He worked as an airline pilot and in his spare time he loved baseball, tinkering on cars and boating. He was the “Jack of all trades”.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Gardner, Wellborn, FL; one son, Christopher Todd Gardner, Raleigh, NC; one daughter, Susan (Luke) Scott, Gastonia, NC; one brother, Paul Gardner, Charlotte, NC and three grandchildren.
As per his wishes finalization will be by cremation.
