Charles Gary Turner

Charles Gary Turner, age 75, of Wellborn, FL, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Solaris Healthcare in Lake City, FL. He was born in Gastonia, NC moving to Wellborn in 2014 from Jacksonville, FL. Charles owned and operated a water company for many years. He loved shag dancing and was a member of the First Coast Shag Club, Florida Boppers, Inc., Jacksonville Beach Bop and founding member of the Savoy Club. He was also a Fellow Craft Mason.
He is survived by his mother, Louise Turner, Middleburg, FL; one son, Gary David Turner, California; one step-son, Richard Butler, Jacksonville, FL; two daughters, Amy Turner, Sarasota, FL; Beth Hansel, Jacksonville, FL; one step-daughter, Stephani Hutto, Wellborn, FL; one brother, Steve Turner, Middleburg, FL; one sister, Barbara McCall, Middleburg, FL; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
As per his wishes finalization will be by cremation.
