Charlie Gene Perry, age 82, passed away early Sunday morning, June 10, 2018 following a lengthy illness. He was born and raised in Cullman, Alabama and moved to Florida in 1957. He resided in Homestead, Florida before coming to Live Oak in 2013. Charlie was of the Baptist faith. He was at onetime an avid fisherman who especially loved deep-sea fishing in the Atlantic Ocean. He is survived by one son, Keith (Tani) Perry of Skaneateles, New York; two daughters, Dana (Jim) McCoy of Live Oak, FL and Gina (Sam) Cardillo of Florida City, FL. One brother, Glenn Perry of Addison, Al. Six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive. Memorial Services for Charlie Perry will be held at a later date near Snapper Point off of Key Largo, Florida. Those wishing to do so may make contributions to Westwood Baptist Church in lieu flowers.
