Christina Caroline Curtis, age 55, of Wellborn, FL, passed away on December 29, 2025, at her home, following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Tampa, FL, moving to Wellborn, FL, in 1993 from Tallahassee, FL. Christina was a teacher for many years, finding great joy and purpose in educating children in scholastics and biblical study. She had a gift for mentoring the younger generations, sharing with them about their potential and God’s gifts and callings on their lives.

She was a member of the Florida Authentic Civilian Towne, known as “FACT,” participating in living history events throughout Florida and surrounding areas. She enjoyed spending her days gardening, birdwatching, canoeing, sewing and hosting celebrations with her family and friends. Her faith in Jesus was most important in her life, and the light of Jesus shone through her every day. Christina was a devoted wife and mother, and she found true purpose in those roles. She will be remembered for her kind heart and ability to make others feel known and special through the love of Jesus.

She is survived by her loving husband, George Curtis, Wellborn, FL; her parents, Sam and Nancy Minton, Wellborn, FL; one son, Christopher (Jeweliana) Curtis, Lake City, FL; one daughter, Emily-Jane Curtis, Wellborn, FL; one brother, Michael Minton, Lake City, FL; niece and nephew Shelby and Dalton Minton; and numerous other family and friends.
