Clara Hampton Baxter

Clara Hampton Baxter, age 95, of Live Oak, Florida, passed away Friday, April 24, 2026, at the Suwannee Valley Care Center / Haven Hospice in Lake City, Florida.  She was born in Oxford, GA living most of her life in Live Oak and was a member of the Pine Level Missionary Baptist Church.  She loved traveling and going out to eat.  

She is survived by her devoted family; niece and care giver, Rose (Billy) Jerkins and family; niece, Joan Sapp and her family and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.

Funeral services were held, 5:00 PM, Monday, April 27, 2026, at the graveside in the Orange Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Lester Curry officiating.
