Clayton “Jim” Logan, age 87, of Live Oak, Florida passed away Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010 at the V.A. Medical Center in Lake City, FL following a lengthy illness. He was born in Wever, IA and grew up in Illinois. After he retired he moved to Live Oak, FL in 1985 from Amarillo, TX. Jim worked for many years in the trucking industry. He was a WWII veteran and was a member of the American Legion, AARP and National Rifle Association and was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille Logan, Live Oak, FL; one son, Gene Logan of Hendersonville, NC; two daughters, Barbara Elaine Taylor, Aiken, SC; Beverly Annette Tester, Hendersonville, NC; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Services were held 3:00 PM Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010 in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel with Father Andy Mitera officiating.
