Colin Lee Hubbard-Ohmstead July 9, 2009 * September 13, 2012 Colin Lee Hubbard-Ohmstead, age 3 of Live Oak, passed away Thursday evening, September 13, 2012 at Shands UF in Gainesville, FL following a three year battle with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Although little Colin was born with SMA he never let it slow him down. He was a wonderful little boy whose beautiful smile touched the hearts of those who knew him. His favorite cartoon was Octonauts and he was daddy and honey’s little boy. He is survived by his daddy, Danny Hubbard, Live Oak, FL; his mother, Tania Ohmstead, Lake City, FL; paternal grandmother, Mary Lee Hubbard, Live Oak, FL; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation was held Monday, September 17th from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services were held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, September 18, 2012 in the Orange Baptist Church with Rev. Morgan Campbell officiating. Internment followed in the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the SMA Foundation, 888 Seventh Ave., Suite 400, New York, NY 10019.
