Cynthia "Cindy" Shelton

Cindy Shelton , age 56, of Live Oak, FL, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2020, at the North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida, following a brief illness. She was a Christian, born in Eustis, Florida and had lived most of her life in Live Oak. She worked at an X-Ray Technitian for Dr. Smidtas. Gardening was her passion, she loved planting flowers and vegetables, most anything that would grow. She was an excellent cook, whether it was in the kitchen or outdside serving some great food off of the grill. Her most treasured moments were the times she spent with her family, who she loved with all her heart.

She was predeceased by her parents, Guy and Shirley Copeland and brother, David Copeland.

She is survived by her loving husband, Mike Shelton, Live Oak; two sons, Chris Shelton and Ronnie Shelton both of Live Oak; her step-mother, Elsie Copeland, Live Oak; brother, Nick Copeland, Live Oak; step-brother, Mike Windsor, McAlpin; two sisters, Patty Garrett, McAlpin, FL and Cheryl Cameron, Lake City, FL; three grandchildren, Kylyn Reynolds, Keirlynn Shelton and Jennson Shelton; many nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation was held, Saturday, February 29th from 4 to 6 PM at the funeral home.

Funeral services were held, 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 1, 2020 in the Live Oak Christian Church with Pastor Aubrey Bussell officiating.  Interment followed in the Live Oak Cemetery.

The family asked for you to plant a flower in your yard, so when it blooms, it will honor her memory.
