Dale Clifford Staats

Dale Clifford Staats May 30, 1962 * January 8, 2012 Dale Clifford Staats, age 49 of Live Oak, FL passed away Sunday, January 8, 2012 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was a native of Vero Beach, Fl, and has been a resident of Live Oak since 1978. Dale was a very hard worker who was employed by PCS as a load out operator. He was an avid gun collector, enjoyed fishing and riding his Harley-Davidson Fatboy. He was an extremely kind person and very family oriented. If Dale could, he would encourage everyone to wear a helmet when riding their motorcycles. He was predeceased by his father, Delis Staats. He is survived by two sons, Cliff Staats and Jordan Staats both of Middleburg, FL; his mother, Geneva Staats, Live Oak, FL; a close friend and mother of his boys, Connie Staats, Middleburg, FL; three brothers, Bill Staats, Lake City, FL; Steve Staats, Jacksonville, FL and Doug Staats, Live Oak, FL; one sister, Terry Sloan, Crosby, TX and many nieces and nephews. Visitation was held Friday, Jan. 13th from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home. Funeral Services were held 11:00 AM, Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012 at Friendship Baptist Church with Pastor Luther Kirby officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
