Darlene K. Meyers

Darlene K. Meyers, 68 of Live Oak, Florida passed away Sunday, May 4, 2008, at Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City, FL following a courageous battle with cancer. She was a native of Elkhart, Indiana moving to Live Oak in 1979 from Orlando, Florida. She worked as a dietician with the Advent Christian Village for many years. Darlene was a wonderful mother and friend who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Dave Meyers. Survivors include five daughters, April Meyers, Live Oak, FL; Julie Trespalacios, Raford, FL; Connie Alford, Kim Meyers, and Rebecca Cash all of Live Oak; her mother, Lois Hall of Live Oak, FL; two brothers, Larry Kershner, and Bobby Joe Hall of Indiana; two sisters, Lou Sabin, Mississippi and Gail Fredette of Arizona; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Memorial services will be held Monday, May 12th at 3:30 pm in the Light House Christian Center in Mayo, FL with Rev. John Whittington officiating. In honoring her wishes, memorialization is by cremation.
