David Page Gill, age 80, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013, in Haven Hospice - ET York, Gainesville, Florida, after a lengthy illness. The Suwannee County native moved to Anthony, Florida in 1956 from Live Oak. He served his country proudly as a Seaman in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He loved gardening and was a member of the Rose Society of Ocala, Florida. David was an active member and a deacon of the First Baptist Church of Ocala, Florida. He is survived by one son, David Craig Gill of Orlando, Fl; three daughters, Debra Perkins of Waycross, Ga., Pam (Todd) Bowman of Orange Lake, Fl. and Sherri (David) Sweat of Bryceville, Fl; two brothers, Leamon Gill and Randall Gill, both of Live Oak, Fl. and one sister, Wannie Mae (Donald) Williams of Live Oak. Eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive. Graveside Services were held Friday, December 27, 2013 at 1:00PM in the Clayland Baptist Church cemetery.
