David Lamont Parnell
January 8, 1959 — March 20, 2023
David Lamont Parnell, age 64, of Live Oak, FL passed away Monday, March 20, 2023 at the Suwannee Valley Care Center, Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL following a lengthy illness. The Fort Lauderdale, FL native lived in Dothan, AL for five years and worked as an aircraft mechanic, he later moved to Tallahassee, FL where he lived for ten years before moving to Live Oak, FL in 2003. David loved wood working, cooking, air shows and traveling to the mountains. His most treasured moments, were spending time with his family and especially his new grandson, Avin.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Parnell, Live Oak, FL; one daughter, Maureen (Dale) Hillhouse, Newberry, FL; two brothers, Freddie (Wanda) Parnell, Lake City, FL; Glenn (Wendy) Parnell, Lake City, FL and one grandson, Avin Hillhouse.
Memorial services will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 26, 2023 at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Wally Weaver and Rev. Stevie Harris officiating.
