David Harrison Stewart

David Harrison Stewart, age 81, of McAlpin, FL passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the Good Samaritan Center in Dowling Park. He was born in Bradenton, FL living most of his life in Columbia and Suwannee Counties. David was known as a hard worker, working odd jobs for McMillian Dairy, mowing yards and a “Jack of all Trades”. He loved his Lord and people, music, hunting and fishing. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. David had a gentle and sweet personality. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly by all who knew him. He was predeceased by his parents, Tom and Georgie Stewart, eight sisters, seven brothers and several nephews. He is survived two sisters, Delores Anderson and Judy (Lamar) Floyd, both of McAlpin; his sister-in-law, Tina Stewart, Middleburg, FL; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services from 1 to 2 PM at the church. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 25, 2015 in the Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Siloam United Methodist Church Cemetery in Lake City. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Advent Christian Village, P.O.
