Debra Stratton Ambrose

Debra Stratton Ambrose, age 58, of Live Oak, FL passed away Monday, August 17, 2015 at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL following a courageous battle with cancer. She was a native of Jacksonville, FL moving to Live Oak in 1971. Debra was a member of the Rocky Sink Baptist Church. She loved working in her yard and growing flowers. She was a loving and caring, wife, mother, sister and granny. She is survived by her husband, Charles Ambrose, Live Oak; one son, Charles (Rebecca) Ambrose, II, Live Oak; one daughter, Ashley (David) Hall, Ft. White; seven brothers, Paul Stratton, Crestview; Douglas Stratton, Aaron Stratton, Carl Stratton, Harold Stratton, Raymond Stratton all of Live Oak and Harry Stratton of Orange Park, FL; two sisters, Edith Mercer and Loraine Hardin both of Live Oak; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Visitation was held Thursday, August 20th from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services were held 11:00 A.M, Friday, August 21, 2015 in the Rocky Sink Baptist Church with Rev. Pat Chewning officiating. Interment followed in the Live Oak Cemetery.
