Denise Christine Tognoli

Denise Christine Tognoli, age 57, of O’Brien, FL, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at the North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL following a brief illness.  She was born in Bronx, NY living in Ft. Lauderdale, FL before moving to O’Brien, FL in 2003.  Denise worked as a sales manager for Honda of Lake City for many years. She loved the outdoors, camping and going to the springs.  She also loved shopping and most of all, spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Tony Tognoli, O’Brien, FL; five sons, Michael Plesak, Daniel (Michelle) Battista, Anthony Battista, Anthony Tognoli and Stephen Battista; four daughters, Tonya Battista, Crystal Tognoli, Tamara Battista and Deanna Battista; three brothers, Stephen Colangelo, Vincent Colangelo and Robert Colangelo; three sisters, Lisa Ann (Dennis Azzone) Colangelo, Tina Epstein, Joette Colangelo and fifteen grandchildren.

Funeral services were held, 6:00 PM, Monday, October 18, 2021 in the Brody Harris Memorial Chapel with Father Anthony Basso officiating.

Visitation and viewing were held prior to the services, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
