Dennis Bonds

Alton “Dennis” Bonds, Jr., age 54, of Live Oak, FL, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2020 at his home following a lengthy illness. He was a native and life-long resident of Live Oak and a graduate of Suwannee High School class of 1983. Dennis worked as a surveyor for the Suwannee County Property Appraiser’s office for nine years before his health began failing and had to retire. He was a member of the Live Oak Church of God. Dennis loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and riding his little grandson around the neighborhood in his buggy! His most treasured moments were spending time with his family, especially his pride and joy, Fletcher.
He is survived by one daughter, Constance (Teddy) Wilton, Live Oak; one son, Bubba (Kayla) Bonds, Live Oak; his parents, Alton and Audrey Bonds, Live Oak; one sister, Lana (J.T.) Hingson, Live Oak; one grandson, Fletcher Wilton, Live Oak; two nephews, Tee Hingson and Josh (Chelsea) Hingson; one niece, Haley (Jerod) Gaylord; a great nephew, Bryson Gaylord and three great nieces, Brooke Gaylord, Joanzy and Indy Hingson all of Live Oak.
Visitation was held, Wednesday, June 24th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Funeral services were held 3:00 PM, Thursday, June 25, 2020 in the Live Oak Church of God with Pastor Greg Richie and Pastor Bruce Branche officiating. Interment followed in the Mt. Olive Church of Christ Cemetery.
