Denton Carmichael
May 9, 1958 — January 13, 2021
Denton J. Carmichael, age 62, of Live Oak, FL, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at his home following a lengthy illness. He was a native and life-long resident of Live Oak and a graduate of Suwannee High School class of 1976. Denton worked as a truck driver and was a member of the Clayland Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, listening to music, talking with everyone and loved to tinker.
He was predeceased by his father, William “Jack” Carmichael.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Carmichael, Live Oak, FL; his mother, JoAnn Skeen Carmichael, Live Oak, FL; one brother, David (Denise) Carmichael, Lake City, FL; two sisters, LaRonna and Laurette Carmichael both of Live Oak, FL; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside services were held, 2:00 PM, Monday, January 18, 2021 in the Clayland Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bill Lawhon officiating.
