Derek Alan Weaks
March 2, 1979 — January 19, 2021
Derek Alan Weaks , age 41, of Inglis, FL, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021 in Ocala, FL, along with his eleven month old baby girl, Gracie Joy John, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was a native of Bradenton, FL moving to Inglis, FL four years ago from Bradenton. He owned and operated a lawn service and was a gun collector and enjoyed RC cars.
He is survived by the love of his life, Courtnie John; mother, Fran Doneburgh, Hartselle, AL; father, Ricky Weaks, Sweetwater, TN; six sons, Derek “Bebo”Weaks, Jr., Hunter Weaks, Ty John, Brody John, Jase John and Colt John; four daughters, Amber Weaks, Emma Weaks, Lexy John and Caylee John; two brothers, Jason Bembry, White Springs, FL and Andrew Weaks, Live Oak, FL; four grandchildren also survive.
Memorial services will be held for both, Derek and Gracie Joy at a later date.
