Diane Margaret Barrett

Diane Margaret Barrett, age 73, of Live Oak, FL, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at her home with her family by her side. She was a native and life-long resident of Live Oak, working as a correctional officer for the State of Florida. Diane was a member of the Tiger Lake Baptist Church and in her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, crafting and stain glass work. Her most treasured moments, were the times spent with her family!
She was predeceased by her parents, William and Thelma Ward; three sisters, Dorothy Denson, Myrna Mills and Regina Williams; one brother, William “Bud” Ward.
She is survived by her loving husband, William “Bill” Barrett, Live Oak, FL; one daughter, Brandi (Andy) Johnson, Wauchula, FL; one brother, Ronnie (Patsy) Ward, Live Oak, FL; one sister, Pat (Jimmy) Jones, Live Oak, FL; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Memorial services were held, 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the Tiger Lake Baptist Church with Pastor Melvin Owen officiating.
