Donald "Don" Wood, Jr.

Donald “Don” Wood, Jr., age 64, of Live Oak, FL passed away Thursday, October 9, 2020 at his home following a lengthy illness.  He was born in Fayetteville, NC moving to Live Oak in 1995 from Gainesville, FL.  He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and worked as a critical care nurse. Don was an avid Florida State Seminole fan and enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife Madonna Wood, Live Oak; his mother, Margaret Ellis, Lynn Haven, FL; three daughters, Jennifer (Scott) Raulerson, Live Oak; Julie (Mike) Moodoyan, Tallahassee, FL; Jennifer (Mitchell) McCarty, Greensboro, AL; one son, Dee (Angela) Wood, Pensacola, FL; two brothers, Paul (Lu) Nelson, California and Joey (Beverly) Nelson, Lynn Haven, FL; one sister, Donna Kay Gilbert, Wrightsville, GA and thirteen grandchildren.

Visitation was held, Saturday, October 10th from 2 to 4 PM at the funeral home.
