Dora Nelle Mitchell

Dora Nelle Mitchell, age 92, of Dowling Park, FL, passed away July 3, 2025, at her home in Dowling Park following a brief illness. She was born in Bridgeport, Alabama, living in Gulfport, MS before moving to Dowling Park, FL in 1995. She worked as a manager for a country club and enjoyed traveling, being a wife and mom. Dora loved recreation, collectables and hostessing family get togethers.
She is survived by one son, Henry (Donna) Googe, Flint, TX; one brother, Larry Manning, Jacksonville, FL; six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Graveside services were held in the Floral Hills Cemetery in Gulfport, MS.
