Dorothea Mathieson

Dorothea Mathieson, age 80, of Live Oak, FL passed away early Monday morning, March 31, 2014 at her home following a lengthy illness. She was a native of Lapeer, Michigan moving to Live Oak in 1993 from Madison, FL. She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing cards and solving puzzles. Dorothea was a loving and caring mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She is survived by four sons, David Wagner, Dennis (Beverly) Wagner, Dwayne (Virginia) Wagner all of Live Oak and John Jay (Chrissy) Mathieson, Denver, CO; six daughters, Denise Gillette, New Port Ritchey, FL; Donna (James) King, Live Oak; Debra (Jonathan) Daniels, Jennings, FL; Diana (Anthony) White, Oakfield, ME; Dawn (Michael) Wagner and Tina Bridges, both of Live Oak; one sister, Beverly (Ralph) Jones, Ruskin, FL; thirty-seven grandchildren and thirty-two great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 1st from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 2, 2014 in the Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Bill Lawhon officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of the Nature Coast, Suite 125, Lake City, FL 32025.
