Dorothy Hilligoss Hudson

Dorothy Louise Hudson October 12, 1934 May 28, 2011 Dorothy Louise Hudson age 76, of O’Brien, Florida passed away Saturday, May 28, 2011 at her home following a lengthy illness. The Anderson, Indiana native moved to O’Brien in 1989 from Lakeland, FL. Before she became ill she worked as a certified nursing assistant at a nursing home in Lake City, FL. Dorothy enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, swimming and cooking out if she didn’t have to do it herself. She also adored spending time with her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Willard Harry Hudson who passed away July 23, 1996. Survivors include two sons, Rich McFall, Medford, Oregon; Greg McFall, Lakeland, FL; two daughters, Annette McFall, Gulfport, MS and Kim Ridge, O’Brien, FL; seven brothers, Delbert Hilligoss, Nichols, FL; Bill Hilligoss and Butch Hilligoss of Anderson, IN; Rueben Hilligoss and Harry Hilligoss of North Vernon, IN; Richard Hilligoss, Lakeland, FL; Mike Hilligoss, Titusville, FL; one sister, Vicky Girt, North Vernon, IN; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Graveside services were held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, June 1, 2011 in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Branford, FL.
