Dorothy Carolyn Ogles
March 2, 1942 — December 20, 2020
Dorothy Carolyn Ogles, age 78, of Lecanto, FL, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020 at the Bayfront Health Seven Rivers Hospital in Crystal River, FL. She was born in Aucilla, FL living most of her life in Live Oak before moving to Lecanto, FL two years ago to live with her daughter. She was a member of the Live Oak Church of God and loved knitting, crocheting, doing crafts and most of all, spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Leroy Ogles.
She is survived by one son, Danny Thomas, Lecanto, FL; one daughter, Deanne (Ray Stephen) McGee, Lecanto, FL; six step-sons, Stephen Ogles, Robert Ogles, Christopher Ogles, Wallace Ogles, Michael Ogles and Bart Ogles; three step-daughters, Patricia Martin, Pamela Buske and Julia Phillips; one brother, Buddy (Karen) Crosby, Dunnellon, FL; two sisters, Betty Criss, Live Oak, FL and Frances Martin, Lecanto, FL; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held, 2:00 PM, Monday, December 28, 2020 in the Live Oak Church of God with Rev. Pastor Wes Tanksley officiating. Interment will follow in the Live Oak Cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the church.
