Dorothy Wooley

Dorothy Wooley, age 84, of Live Oak, FL passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the Suwannee Health Care Center in Live Oak. She was a native of Carteret, NJ moving to Live Oak in 1959 from Miami, FL. Dorothy began her career with an Insurance Company on Park Avenue in New York and then worked for Pan Am in administration in Miami, FL. After moving to Live Oak, she was the first secretary for the Florida Sheriff’s Boys Ranch and later worked as a teller for Bank of America. She was a member of the Live Oak Jr. Women’s Club and the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She was predeceased by a son, Cliff Wooley in April 2012. She is survived by one son, Michael (Cheryl) Wooley, Live Oak; two grandchildren, Christen (Daniel) Bell, Raleigh, NC and Casey Wooley, Live Oak. Private family memorial services will be held Saturday. The family would like to invite friends to come by the home of Mike & Cheryl Wooley from 1:00 to 5:00 PM Saturday, June 13, 2015.
