Dorrance Paul Davenport June 4, 1941 * February 25, 2012 Dorrance Paul Davenport, age 70 of Live Oak, FL passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Shands of U.F. in Gainesville, Florida. The Danville, Vermont native moved to Live Oak about seventeen years ago. He was a Mason, an antique dealer, and loved to hunt and fish. He was of the Baptist faith. Dorrance will be sadly missed by his granddaughter, Hailey Lamont and his little man Jake who both brought comfort and joy to him daily. He is survived by his wife Patricia Davenport of Live Oak, FL; two sons, Chris (Ashley) Lamont of Richmond, VA and Donald (Donna) Lamont of Lyndonville, VT; three daughters, Wendy Davenport of Burke, VT, Lana Davenport of Danville, VT and Laurie Davenport of South Burlington, VT; one brother, Guy (Joanne) Davenport of Naples, Florida; one sister, Rita Bigalow of St. Johnsbury, VT; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Viewing and visitation was held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, February 29th at the funeral home.
