Eddie Carmel Ward, Jr.

Eddie C. Ward, Jr., age 69, of Mayo, FL passed Thursday, April 6, 2017 at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, FL. He was born in Live Oak, FL moving to Mayo in 1982 where he worked as a truck driver. Eddie was a hard worker and when he wasn’t working he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Reba Ward, Mayo, FL; one son, Eddie C. Ward, III, “Trey”, Live Oak; three daughters, Candice Miller, Inverness, FL; Amanda (Wayne) Walker, Branford, FL; Liz (Travis) Ward, White Springs, FL; one sister, Betty Jane Mitchell, Jasper, FL; six grandchildren. Visitation was held, Saturday evening from 5 to 7 PM at the funeral home. Graveside services were held 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 9, 2017 in the Walker Family Cemetery in Branford, FL with Brother Dustin Bell officiating.
